My 100th post. Chatting to a FB fiend this morning I learn that he has been reading my blogs. I better be careful over what I write now I know that someone actually reads my ramblings. I wonder if he recognises any of the people/characters I have surreptiously mention...hmmmm (Comments would be welcomed)
Today is the start of British Summertime and, like last year, I was on car park duty at Church having to be there for 8.45 or was it really 7.45?
Still, with the weather being good, sunny with a little cloud, I was able to wear a polo shirt (short sleeves) and sunglasses. Has summer really arrived before the end of March?
Most weeks we have people arriving 45 minutes or so late for our second service (start time 11.15) and this week was no exception, except some were an hour late because they didn't know the clocks had moved. How do people not know?
Being "summer", we ate lunch sitting in the garden. Eldest daughter has suggested they come round next Sunday (Mother's Day) for a BBQ!!! Would be nice if she invited us round their gaff.
In the afternoon, I went for what is becoming a regular trek down to Milton and then back along the foreshore....total length 3.45 miles with a time of 58 minutes. I really must take it more leisurely and enjoy the walk rather than treat it as a route march and aim for a quicker time---either way it is much needed exercise.
Right---enough rambling for today---off to complete the Census.
