Guess you can call me a blog virgin------well there is a first time for everything!
I suppose one should write on here information about myself----tis strange this because I usually have a lot to say but on thinking what to write here---my mind is blank.
So here goes---today I have been mostly sat behind my computer at work helping to prepare the final accounts for my employer. This is not my permanent work but rather a three month secondment as they couldn't find another mug to do the job! Still---the money---oopps ---experience is invaluable. My new boss has two favourite sayings---or rather sayings he comes out with with some regularity---"as you are probably aware...." this means that you probably don't know!!!! and "piddle"...a more polite saying instead of the other bodily function from and adjacent area!
Having my own allotment means I spend time there watering the crops and tending to them to ensure I get a bumper crop of produce. Tis good exercise---cheaper than belonging to a gym and I get something back for my troubles.
I attend www.family-church.org.uk ......one of the fastest growing Churches in the UK. If you like non-trad but contemporary Church---this is the place for you. If you seldom go to a Church then this place will blow your mind and pre-conceptions of what Church is and is about.
Another interest is in the only real football team on south coast of England www.pompeyfc.co.uk who at the moment are a whisher away from qualifying to play in European competition next season---come on you blues-----but if the example of Ipswich is anything to take notice of then I would rather not play in Europe so as to avoid relegation from the Premier League...sorry Baz...sorry Ang...sorry Lea!!!
Being a bit of a saddo I like playing online games e.g. backgammon, reversi, upwords and flags! This in this arena that I have become friends with other online gamers.......Speedy, Buttercupuk, PastorBill aka radioman, BFC_Angel_D_8 aka Angel_Delight8.
Well that is a little background to me----more will follow....bet you can't wait!
