Today - 21st October - is Trafalgar Day when we in UK remember Admiral Lord Nelson's fleet defeating the combined fleets fo France and Spain and what is affectionally known as The Battle of Trafalgar.
My hometown, Portsmouth, has in its dockyard; Nelson's flagship HMS Victory together with a school named after the great man, a monument paid for by his loyal crew, a statue close to where he took his last steps on English soil.
