This morning, a lay-in was in order on account of being at an evening wedding reception yesterday. That was a time to catch up on "friends" and acquaintences from years back...Hazel, Claire, Trish, Derek, Nicole, (who said "papa!") and the Keepings.Being later up this mornign, we went to the second service at www.family-church.org.uk where Andy's message was "Consumer or Consumed?" Challenging as always ---seeing as I see myself as a consumer...going to get what I want rather than giving to help others.
Service over by 1pm so it was off to Kitsch'n D'or for three course french sunday lunch. My starter was Mussels de Breton followed by slow roasted shoulder of lamb followed by a selection of french cheeses. Staying off the alcohol today as I had more than my fair share last evening.
Two hours later it was time to go home for a bit of shut-eye before trundling along to my allotment to give it a good dousing of water.
Right now I am sitting in my garden enjoying the peace and cooler weather
It's been gloriously hot day spent meandering from one thing to another without any sense of urgency---that will be left till tomorrow!
