What's it all about?

Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow ...........

Some people say tomorrow never comes and if we consider eternity exists, then tomorrow never comes because there will always be a tomorrow....so why eat, drink and be merry? One reason could be that we should enjoy each day----life is for living after all! So does this mean that we will never die? Clearly in one sense, this question has an obvious answer------we all know that!!! doh........but recognising that we are made of:
body-----which is perishable and corruptible....ashes to ashes
soul------the seat of our emotions &
spirit-----that which has a beginning and no end

then there is part of us that will live for ever and never die.

I guess we should learn to count/number our days, because whilst this life is transient, a key decision that we make in the body will determine where our spirit will live on in the eternity where every tomorrow will always be a today. But isn't that the case now? I'm getting confused writing this but then doesn't your mind boggle when you consider eternity?

So I guess I am trying to say-------enjoy life--make the right decision about where you will spend eternity---and then you can be truly happy (merry) eating and drinking because you know your eternity is secured.

That's what it is all about!
