Woo hoo for bank holidays...pity we can;t guarantee gorgeous summer weather as we had all last week. Still......it did stay fine for us to visit local tip and dump some junk cleared from our garage last week.
Taking a look at our car, we decided it was time to treat it to a wash..(last one was probably 2 years ago)---so off we went to Tesco service tation and paid £5---yes £5 for a Platinum wash---included---wax, scrub exfoliating and dry blow. Ok the exfoliating was a lie but there is so much grime on the car that even this £5---yes £5 wash could not clear that it probably needs good old elbow grease to clear it away----fat chance of that happening.
Having retrieved my new electric drill driver from my son-in-laws I put up shelving in our conservatory so we can put other junk on display!!!!
In the afternoon, I decided to play/practice on my mother-in-law's (affectionately known as MIL) electric piano seeing as we are looking after it as she has no room in her new home---shame! I just love Baroque music and that of Mozart....with the occasional blues.
As the day draws to a close, the sun has appeared so it's time to get up and get out ....so much to do...so little time to do it....but hey..tomorrow's another day too!
