Today was one of the days that proceeded at a steady pace---time didn't fly by nor was it a drag---although whilst sitting in the local park for lunch, time passed all too quickly. I guess the old adage is true--"time flies when you are enjoying yourself."
Today I discovered that a colleague is learning to play the piano.....being a keen piano player myself and former teacher of the instrument meant we had some common ground for discussion. I also learned that my new boss can be rather abrupt when tired....but then who isn't? Lesson: watch for tired signs and avoid!
Summer seems to have come early this year----global warming I tell you-----and whilst it is nice to cycle wearing a polo shirt as a top, the strong easterly wind in my face cycling home today made for a more strenous ride home. Still, I need the exercise---at least it wasn't raining.
This is the first summer in many a year when I have not had my head in text books revising for May exams-----the feeling now of not stressing over and re-doing revision questions is indescribable. Life is good!
Guess I have written sufficient for today----onward I go!
